How ranking works
Social Market gives social profiles a public advertising placement on a ranked leaderboard. A placement helps people discover a profile, but it does not guarantee a position, duration, clicks, followers, engagement, or any other result.
- 01
Choose a profile
Anyone may submit a supported public social profile. You may submit and promote a profile you do not own. Submission does not establish ownership, affiliation, endorsement, or permission to speak for that profile or platform.
- 02
Make a placement payment
New profiles require at least $1. Existing listings can be boosted with at least $2. Each verified whole-dollar payment is added to the listing's total. A single payment cannot exceed $100,000.
- 03
Rank follows verified value
Listings are ordered by their verified paid total. Ties are resolved using the time the current total was reached and then a stable internal identifier.
- 04
Estimates can change
The amount and rank shown during review are estimates based on the current leaderboard. Other verified payments may change the result before or after your payment is confirmed.
- 05
Payment activates placement
A listing becomes eligible for the public leaderboard only after Stripe confirms the payment. Returning from checkout alone does not activate a placement.
